Put It in Context

23 August 2023

First things first: The classical conservative American culture is a perverted mess compared to the Covenant ways in the Bible. The progressive brand of American culture is even worse, but the difference between conservative and progressive American social mythologies is quite small against the vast difference both have with walking in Christ.

A prime example is how we handle human sexuality. It is so rarely done right that it's quite remarkable when you see it. It's downright weird by comparison to what most of the good, conservative church folks in America have come to expect. They have so deeply perverted the Scriptural model that they simply cannot imagine the stringent boundaries God proclaimed in His Word. The desire for sexual gratification is not the sin, but how we go about it.

We who cling to the Covenant must relearn, at great cost and struggle, what is "normal" in God's view. We quickly become deeply cynical about sexual morals in America. We just don't expect much from the people living in the US. Almost everyone who engages in sexual activity of any sort is already messed up and defiled before they get there, so any sex they do experience is defiled by consequence. It is a grave evil that, by itself, warrants God raining down fire on this country. We must stand on this truth before we go on to discuss other sexual perversions that we consider not so common.

Our culture defiles childhood itself, the very root nature of what God intended it should be. The very best, highest moral standards of so-called Christian schools are filthy rags compared to Scripture. If you want to raise a hue and cry about pedophilia, you had better put it in the context of American sexual idolatry. Our nation, including church folk, is so deeply twisted in pursuit of sexual gratification that pedophilia is just a fairly typical extension of it. This is why so very many church leaders have been caught molesting children; it's just one more sexual perversion alongside the adultery, homosexuality, etc., that various church leaders have been caught at.

And then there's all those folks in the pews who are not church leaders.

But there's a really big market in pedophilia scaremongering. I've been following a developing story at The Bombthrower. It's based on a pagan religious book that seeks to appeal to an American audience regarding pedophilia and child sex abuse. The series begins here.

However, I suppose the second part is going to get a lot more attention. The whole series is about how child sex trafficking is related to a sinister plot to damage people, giving them split personalities, and turning them into assassins and so forth. That second post cites stories from people who claim to have been used in such programs.

That stuff is real. It's not a question of whether these people are telling the truth about their own experiences. Rather, it should surprise no one that our government is funding that kind of research and abuse of children. I have seen enough dirty laundry with politically ambitious people in the military that nothing surprises me anymore. Because of my position in the military, I learned that some of the men I was obliged to salute would have been first in line to take a staff position on such a program. They would have volunteered to do the damage. The willing volunteers far outnumbered the staffing needs. That's what kind of people run our military services.

The moral filth hidden behind the uniform is simply unimaginable. And what do you suppose the rest of the government agencies are like? The reason is not so much that these men and women are so terribly evil, but that they are so common. They represent what is common in our culture, but which we are taught to pretend is not what America is really like.

I'm not suggesting that child trafficking is not a problem. I'm saying that it is so deeply burned into our American culture that anyone who raises a bunch noise about it is probably seeking to divert attention from some other wickedness. If you think child sexual abuse is a major problem in America, you are missing the point altogether. Whether apples or oranges, the whole basket of fruit is rotten.

The solution is not raising up troopers who storm the child trafficking operations. The solution is to destroy the federal government and quite a few state governments, along with some really big churches, and... you get the picture. Stopping that particular abuse means stopping the whole American way of life.
