They Are Lying

12 September 2023

Apparently, the truth is so earth-shattering that it bears restating more clearly for some readers.

As a human on this earth, you are fallen. The mere fact of mortality itself is all the proof we need. God did not design us this way; this is a curse applied after we were created. We were not "human" in the Garden of Eden, in the same sense of being human as we are now. This is one of the few things Dr. Michael Heiser got wrong. We are not naturally mortal. Jesus noted this in Luke 20:23-26, though He stated it in different terms, because He was answering a silly question that assumed Eternity meant "time without end".

Previous to the Fall, we had an eternal form rather like Christ had after the Resurrection. Mortality was built into the natural world, but we were made somehow different, so that whatever physical form we had, it was not mortal. We "ate of the Tree of Life" -- a symbolic statement regarding our eternal form before the Fall. Our access to that was removed in the Fall; we were ejected from the Garden.

Instead of being masters over the natural world, we were forced to become a part of it. The symbolism of the Flaming Sword at the Gate of Eden is that we must end this mortal existence in order to return. But rather than being a single choke point, the Flaming Sword is a whole process that lasts as long as our mortal lives, as far as we are concerned. That Flaming Sword is God's revelation, His provision for our mortal existence so we can make the most of this one shot we have at getting back to Eden.

In our mortal form, it is inevitable that we will serve one deity or another. We are utterly incapable of managing life on our own. Without some kind of divine guidance, we would be nothing more than the sort of animals we are supposed to rule. The potential is there, but we have no inclination, or even any idea, how to rise above that level. We know instinctively that we should, but we cannot possibly know how.

So, we are wired to receive divine guidance, consciously or not. In the Garden, we chose to receive that guidance from some source other than the Creator. It hardly matters to whom we listen; it's not the One God who knows the answers. Without His mark of ownership, we are wide open to being passed among any number of elohim who don't love us. It's a form of slavery.

As a matter of birthright, we cannot choose to be independent as humans. Mortality itself makes us subject to the elohim. By default, at birth, we belong to them. It requires some kind of intervention from Jehovah to escape. Moreover, it is utterly impossible to explain how that works. It requires the exercise of faith, a human capability that is itself utterly inexplicable. The whole thing stands in the Eternal Realm, and the best we can hope for are glimpses of guidance that we can use in our current form to start moving back toward Eden.

Thus, any pretense of human rulers to shaping human nature, to herding people into one imaginary paradise or another, is utter nonsense. First, there is no paradise except Eden. The Gate to Eden means passing through the Flaming Sword. There is no other path. Second, any paradise we could possibly achieve cannot last longer than the people who create it. It is an observed law of human existence that those who are driven to achieve great things cannot possibly transmit their experience to succeeding generations. Only God can do that, and He has made it clear that His involvement depends entirely on that Flaming Sword.

Humans can't live long enough to stabilize a paradise, and they cannot put their prime directive inside the heads of their heirs with faith. Whatever the first generation lived through will be theirs alone; humans cannot transmit first-hand experience to each other. It seems reasonable that we could, but in practice it has always failed without God's intervention. Thus, the succeeding generations will not have whatever it was that drove the first generation to build the paradise they could dream up. Instead, the heirs will grow up with a totally different attitude to all things, because we wired that way. There is no escape from this situation.

Jehovah as Creator can break through these limitations. He has promised, as part of His Covenant, that He will instill the driving passion to preserve His own Covenant lifestyle in succeeding generations, provided we stay faithful. He will provide what no earthly agency can possibly offer.

Or, we can listen to the false promises of the elohim, who are eager to destroy everything for reasons we cannot comprehend. The only thing we can possibly understand is that they hate us, and want us to completely miss out on the offer Jehovah makes to restore Eden. They could not destroy Eden, but they could persuade us to choose a path that would get us kicked out of it. And they will continue persuading us to choose paths, any path at all, except the one leading back to Eden.

We are utterly incapable of keeping these divine powers out of our heads.

It is their commission to rule over us. We can do nothing to change the situation. We have no standing at all to complain that God has put us in a bind. Rather, it is for us to accept and seek to understand the reality given to us. He alone has the authority to prevent these other beings from poking into our minds, and even then, He warns that His help is limited. We must first submit wholly to Him, but then we must keep that submission active for the rest of our lives.

Thus, all of the theories about how masses of humanity can be conditioned and reshaped by their environment, etc., are nonsense. It will appear to be true, but that's not what's actually happening. The real story is not that elite humans are causing us little people to follow their lead, but that the elohim are leading us, deceiving us and our rulers at the same time.

Worse, that power and leadership doesn't end up where they try to make us believe. The elohim are lying, and they know they are lying about it. They want to destroy us. They want us to believe they can lead us to paradise, and they will tell whatever lies work to get us on that path, any path except the one that leads to Eden.

Every dark secret power they have given their lackeys is no better than a half truth. They only appear to work. They work well enough on a human timeline to convince us to keep following. Without divine intervention, we cannot see beyond a very near horizon. Unless we seek God's face, He will not grant us the ability to see far horizons. Without His hand awakening that in us, we cannot possibly grasp the whole picture, even to the degree possible in our mortal frame.

He alone can awaken that divine awareness. Everyone else is lying, and the elohim's grip is unshakable from the human context. No human can break it. Unless this testimony calls to you, nothing I could possibly say will do you any good. Humanity starts out brainwashed, as it were. It requires divine intervention to change that situation. Our Creator has declared His choice to use us in the process of reaching His children. He doesn't need us, but chooses to include us.

And the end result is that we begin to approach Eden. We begin the process of turning that Flaming Sword on ourselves. We get ready to pass through that gate, back to the Tree of Life.
