Having said all of that, perhaps you can understand why I would suggest the following.
The human elite seeking to destroy the US are not all on the same page, at least regarding the preferred method for this destruction. There are an awful lot of folks determined to get the US into a war with Russia. They are convinced we'll win, but we won't. The whole thing is one big miscalculation.
Another group wants to disentangle from Russia so the US can go to war with China. We would lose that war, too. I don't want you to think in terms of military war-making. I want you to see it for what it really is: economic warfare over a dominance agenda. Any military action would be just an additional layer to make more obvious the economic warfare already under way.
The reason we cannot beat either Russia or China in economic warfare is because the financial leverage is evaporating quickly. Thus, the addition of military force is supposed to enable a fresh economic leverage. The whole idea is to force Russia and China to allow our banking system to control their governments. The rhetoric is "rule of law" and all that, but it's simply a label for the centralized banking system that makes executive decisions over who gets to plunder the target countries.
It's a bankers' war, nothing more. That's all it ever has been with American wars.
From where I sit, I can't really tell which of the two main groups is going to win. In terms of the results, it won't matter much. That's because attacking one will provoke the support of the other. They are locked together working to break the western bankers' hold over their economies. And they are offering a safe refuge for a lot of smaller countries that have finally come to understand the threat posed by the western banking system.
The revolutions we see in South America and Africa -- some via election, and some by military -- are tied to this shift, where Russia and China have decided to separate from the western banking system. Russia and China are winning, and like any previous ancient empire, as the central American power wanes, lots of subject nations will shake loose. Expect more western client nations to see revolts and/or sudden changes in government.
This will come home to the US in the form of secession movements. Not necessarily a full-blown formal dissolution of the Union, but a very real one nonetheless. I'm not expecting a sudden break with violence, at least not on a large scale. Not yet; some ingredients are missing. I'm expecting an attrition of centralized control via resistance to specific policies.
There are several policy issues that will almost certainly provoke resistance from state governments. Another attempted lockdown over some fake plague will expose one kind of resistance. The issue of immigration will expose another. I'm expecting the war nonsense will be a much noisier resistance. That's because, with recruiting suffering so badly, I'm pretty sure we'll see conscription.
I believe Doug Casey offers a pretty good summary of related issues. And it sure looks like it's coming in the next year or so.
Where the violence is most likely to appear will be with petty crime and rioting. Both come from the same source. I am aware that economic collapse always brings some rise in crime, but you need to understand that there is a lot of strong evidence that some of it is the work of the so-called Deep State. That is, some petty crime is committed by agents of the government for the sole purpose of espionage and terror.
For example, over the past two decades, under the guise of petty theft, people with access to critical information databases have had their laptops stolen. The laptops were targeted precisely to get access to these databases so the government agencies could gather data they couldn't get legally. Of course, lately there's been a new opportunity for government agencies to simply purchase access of advertising tracking data through straw buyers -- fake advertising companies. Still, too much non-advertising data is not for sale, and laptop thefts continue. Those laptops rarely end up in pawn shops.
Recently, fed up citizens with some skill and moxie have chased down some petty thefts they observed, only to discover that the thief had a wholly unreasonable level of protection. Not just law enforcement playing games, but as the thief was pursued, a whole network of enablers popped up out of nowhere to aid him in escape. This was way more help than the petty crime could justify. The thief kept moving through a string of seemingly random people pre-positioned to ensure he got away, taking some of the most extreme measures of hindering or threatening the pursuit.
Well, the rioting works the same way. It's all very highly organized to prevent even armed folks from having any ability or justification to shoot the real threats. They know that folks armed for self-defense have to observe rules of engagement, and the crowds are organized with tactics to exploit those restrictions and all but kill the armed people trying to hinder rioting.
Hint: If you are of a mind to fight back against organized rioting to defend property, you had better get wise to these tactics and find out ways to counter them. The targets of rioting are rarely homes. They are organized to generate terror, and that means anything that makes good news footage. Thus, it would be the nice shops downtown, or anywhere that can provide choke-points for vehicles (police) and civilian defenders, allowing the rioters to take over some area temporarily.
Right now, the rioting has been de-emphasized in favor of flash-mob robberies, particularly high-end stores. Again, the Deep State is organizing that stuff. Where I live, that means the upscale shopping malls. The tactic is to scatter in all directions to get away, knowing that any police presence would catch only a few. The only way to stop this kind of tactic is if citizens are organized and trained in advance to take action. It's just not very likely.
But the rioting will return in due course. Look for it. Much of it will be masked by protest actions. There are all kinds of excuses for protests already, so the alleged cause of any protest hardly matters, so long as it provides an excuse to terrorize the citizens.
And no, the military conscription program will not grab all these trained and able-bodied rioters. They will be exempt for all kinds of reasons, simply because they are already serving as "soldiers" of another kind. It's the government attacking its own people.
Look for martial law, lurking in the background as the ultimate weapon against the citizens. If nothing else, this would be a primary cause of state governments resisting the federal.

A lot of the talk about dramatic dystopian declines, especially economy-wise, reminds me of the "tragedy" of the Library of Alexandria. Its sudden demise is usually posed in the context of Christian intolerance, when in fact it decline gradually over centuries. There wasn't a "sacking" and looting/burning that completely destroyed it, but that's not a dramatic enough story for people who have an ax to grind against religious belief.
