I've often said that I don't debate. What that really means is that the vast majority of people who want to debate are intellectually dishonest. They aren't willing to dig through the a priori part of their arguments. They want to start somewhere far down the road from the origins, which is rather like demanding that they get to choose the place of battle, and consider their "home ground" sacred and untouchable.
This is why I tend to argue so-called "first principles" -- metaphysics and epistemology. It's why I talk about the western versus eastern approach to knowledge and consciousness. It's why I point out the fundamental difference between trusting human intellect versus relying on faith. Faith in Jesus Christ cannot possibly lead you to Western Civilization.
If you trust in human intellect, then you are not ready to debate with God's claims on His Creation. It's not an intellectual proposition. You either acknowledge His Lordship, or you don't. If you don't, then you are on a wholly different planet. There's no common ground for discussion. That is the first-est of first principles. Everything else is merely a question of implications.
If you develop the mental habit of examining the foundations of most public arguments, it's easy to recognize the futility of discussion in the first place. For example, there is a whole mass of assumptions behind pressing everyone to take the various vaccines promoted to the public. Whatever medical science might have been in the past, it's now an industry, and that whole industry has changed. Don't get bogged down in medical details; they are lying. It's not about medicine but control. They don't give a damn about our welfare. The people promoting this are doing evil simply because the issue isn't medicine, but control. Good moral people don't want to rule the lives of others. End of discussion.
Indeed, the whole issue of government has been turned on its head. God said that there must be human government. That's part of what the Flood narrative is about. I might claim a tactical preference for the anarchist philosophical position, but that's only so we can tear down the current form of government and replace it with something God designed for us. I'm not against human government at all; I'm against western democracy in any form.
So-called "western democracy" is simply a form of government that is inherently evil. It's a question of ontology. It's designed to cut God out of the process; it stands firm on the conviction that there is no God in the first place. It relegates faith to mere hobby. It then replaces the moral force of God's revelation with any number of tricks and manipulations that convince people they voted for the outcome, an outcome that always favors one small elite group or another.
We know this, but we also know by divine revelation that God has a plan regarding the final revelation of His truth, a plan that includes allowing spiritual powers and principalities to run amok through human fallen nature, making the world chaotic and ugly. Whatever awful things happen cannot nullify His choice to include humans in His household. Yes, there is a really good and righteous way to do human government; His Word makes it all pretty obvious. However, we also know that His way will not happen, except on the smallest of scales called "your local covenant community".
It's not a question of us tolerating evil. It's a question of His servants not being distracted by something He has no intention of changing. It's already done. He has not given us the authority to act against the mass of human evil. Rather, this awful situation is the setting in which we rise up to portray the only real solution: leaving this world to the demons and foul spirits. If you understand that this world is an illusion in the first place, that your eternal spirit is safe and will stand before Him in a restored Garden of Eden, then you don't get entangled in the mess. It doesn't own you.
Your life as a fallen human is already forfeit to the Cross. He gets to dispose of your human assets as He pleases. There's your real government. You aren't concerned if He allows some idiot to seize your property and your life itself. The only time you resist is when your convictions require it. Not because you expect to save anything or change the situation at all, but because resistance itself speaks His truth. Alternatively, when your convictions demand it, non-resistance can also speak His truth.
It doesn't matter if the mass of fallen humanity understands. God is the one we please, and the host of fallen spirits are the ones we fight. We aren't fighting the mass of humanity; that's not our enemy. There is no principle of resistance regarding the outcomes. The principle is resisting sin in your own self, not the sins of others. You are guarding what God has committed to your hands. It's not about your stuff or your life; it's about projecting divine truth into the chaos.
So why would I resist all vaccines? Because they are all designed to destroy my flesh and my will to act independently of human government. We are moving toward a technology that removes human choice, and the vaccines are just a part of that. It is a move to dehumanize humans, turning us into machines. Sure, some of those vaccines may still be safe and effective, even in simply relative terms. But the point of resistance is to reject the model of government that excludes my Savior from the reckoning of what I'll do nor not do. This is my conviction.
There are plenty of things already chosen for me, and plenty of things I allowed to pass under the bridge because I wasn't called to act on them. But I am called to act on the vaxx -- any vaxx. It's not the concept of that vaxx itself, but the symbolism. It's the principle of declaring and asserting my choice based on faith in Christ, not anyone else's choice for me. Should things degrade to the point that such a choice forces me into the boonies as a rebel against human government, I'm willing. That choice was made long ago when I knelt at the foot of the Cross. I chose the path of divine revelation, sight unseen.
My choice may not work for you, nor yours for me. The point is that you must decide, you and the Lord together, talking it over. The foundation is faith in Him alone.
