The Best Entertainer

17 August 2024

In one thing I have been most unyielding: Politics in America is the single biggest waste of time for Americans. Activism will accomplish nothing of significance to the Kingdom of Heaven. That does not keep political activism from being entertaining. It can fall into the silliest follies of human ambitions. The biggest mistake you can make is taking it seriously.

When you relegate it to a hobby like comics, movies, video games, etc., then we get the right approach. Once you are certain it won't make any real difference, you are in a position to engage it more effectively. Don't take it too seriously; read it like fiction. Nothing important is going to happen, but we do have some time and energy to spare on the entertainment value. There are worse ways you can pass your time.

In this vein, I am highly amused by the antics of Nick Fuentes. Given just how stupid it all is, I think he would make the perfect party leader, maybe even president when he's old enough (he's only 25). His political rants take too much time to engage on a regular basis, but if I wanted to get involved in politics, I would embrace his program.

Don't get me wrong: I know how much heat he takes over racism. We've reviewed that often enough here, not least in my previous post. The real issue is that God says human life is most viable under tribal nationalist organization. People look at things as if we should be reaching for glowing ideals, but God says, "Get real; you cannot do it that way." Only by the power of the Holy Spirit can you bypass race and culture, and even then, it requires a full-blown covenant community atmosphere. You must escape human nature, constrain it tightly under divine power. Without that "ideal" setting, you are forced to deal with human nature as it is.

And human nature is inherently racist, tribal and sectarian. We have no business living together in large cosmopolitan nations. It cannot work. It hasn't worked and it never will. The one thing humans need most is stable structure that is just flexible enough to allow some variations as variations. We need to recognize deviations for what they are, and retain a very solid grasp on what is normal within a given context. We cannot appreciate the joy of stepping across the lines until those lines are solid and reliable.

The lines drawn in America today are about as unreliable as they can be. Out of all the nutty political entertainment out there today, few make the kind of sense Fuentes does for the US. He calls for boundaries that will work to bring about the greatest stability and prosperity possible given our country's heritage. No, it's not ideal. Yes, it will work.

If you pay attention to him for just a little while, you realize he is not ranting about race differences, but cultural ones. Immigration is not a problem when the immigrants assimilate. The immigrants we have today are quite strongly encouraged not to assimilate. It's the government doing that. Thus, you realize that our government hates us and intends to destroy us. All the reasons immigrants have for coming here are rooted in the benefits of our northern European cultural habits. They come here because the culture they had back home left them in poverty and under hideous stresses. That's not racism; it's reality.

I am convinced it's too late, that things cannot be turned around. But if I had even the slightest inclination to get involved, I would join the America First movement. I would strive to stir an almost fanatical movement to engage politics so that, if it could not win elections, it would spoil them and push so hard they could not be ignored. But it's a waste of time, because America is doomed under God's wrath.

So, instead I am watching and laughing because Fuentes, at least, is doing it right. He is some of the best entertainment out there. Oh, and I really don't care how others might feel about this. Those who complain are riding on the fast track to Hell, so their feelings and thoughts mean nothing. God's revelation is the only truth.

I don't have a shortage of story ideas, but one technique I've learned if I am stuck somewhere in writing the plot, I take a look at some random news stories to get ideas. Sometimes political stories are the best because there's so much nonsense and people acting nonsensically, and it can knock down barriers blocking an idea flow in my head, even if it's not really related to the news bit in question. Entertainment, for sure.
