Carrying the Fire

28 August 2024

People who make their living from blogging tend to push the Armageddon stories because that keeps the readers interested. I'm not making a dime, so any mention I make of tribulation and apocalypse are not mere entertainment.

Somewhere out there in the future, we know that bad stuff will happen. It's not an intellectual exercise and I'm certainly not trying to stir emotions. This is something we know in our hearts as moral truth. Sin has consequences; where there's a lot of sin, there will be a lot of consequences. Further, any smidgen of prophetic sense will tell you the ax is laid at the root of the tree.

The Radix Fidem community has one focus: We must broadcast the message of the Covenant of Christ. Nothing else matters; all the other stuff that happens to us will be merely the background against which the message is projected for the world to see.

Most of us are convinced we'll be dead in the next twenty years due to natural catastrophes, if nothing else. Time is limited. On the way to those natural disasters, we have plenty of man-made disasters to handle.

This has been a very rich opportunity using the Internet as a means of publication. All of us found each other because the Lord used the Net to bring us together. We are all scattered around the US and it's unlikely we'll ever meet face to face. We are using the Net to share our faith and build each other up before the message gets squelched by our Enemy working through his proxies.

Now, it's likely that our ability to communicate privately will linger quite a while after the publication options are gone. Keep that in mind; it's how the Net works. There are several protocols and services that preserve privacy, and it depends on which ones are targeted first that will guide our future choices. But eventually the Net will become rather useless for anything except as a means of government tracking and control.

Thus, it's critical to focus on the remaining time to develop our individual abilities to keep the faith alive, which means keeping our witness alive. In the coming tribulation, things will get very challenging for people at large as the human normalcy bias keeps them from adjusting to what's happening. Our witness will start finding hearts open as the masses start feeling divorced from their former reality. It will be our time, regardless of what we each may be suffering individually in human terms.

By all means, ask all those questions that linger in your thoughts. This is the time to find answers so we'll all be ready to carry the fire. Tune up your faith and claim God's provision. The miracles will come faster and more powerfully than the works of darkness.
