What is the one thing we have that we say distinguishes us in God's eyes? It's the Covenant, of course. The Covenant of Christ -- specifically as a covenant -- is the one treasure we have that places us most securely in God's favor. Given the context in which we live today, I would say we must very consciously think of it in terms of a tribal feudal covenant of submission to Christ in order for this to work as it was intended.
Upon this foundation we stand when we rejected the world around us. Everything we see must be referred back to the Covenant in order to understand what's going on in the world today. Everything is measured against that standard. The Covenant of Christ further assumes you will study to ensure you understand the eternal priorities of God as expressed in the preceding Covenants of Moses and Noah.
By this standard we realize that, so long as there is no covenant nation, we cannot give any genuine political allegiance to any human government. We will forever be guests, alien residents in any human political unit. It's not that we have no interest in human affairs, but that our input is constrained by the fundamental recognition that they cannot possibly do what is good in God's eyes. Every human country is essentially serving one or more pagan deities -- AKA, elohim council members. And because of how the divine politics of the Unseen Realm work, every human government is more or less under Satan's direct authority. He is the feudal master of all nations. We might be able to give them some advice based on divine revelation, but we are not invested in the outcomes.
The people of America are not our people. Until you can fully grasp that, until you can break the illusion that you belong, you will struggle with false assumptions about what can and should happen around you. It's not that we don't see the redemptive hand of God working within the frame of reference of His council. Indeed, we assert that He very firmly limits those elohim satraps and demands certain results, but that He does so as the manager of a system He has delegated to them. And we can be sure that He is by no means a micromanager.
Thus, while we can certainly infer that our God has granted Trump a political victory, it does not necessarily follow that God is directly involved in American politics. He has said over and over again that He does not rule as the God of any particular nation. His Kingdom ignores all national borders and all human identity. It's not for a lack of interest in political outcomes, but that He intentionally chose to let His council run the show mostly without His intervention. This is a tactic in the bigger picture of what He is doing to answer their false accusations against Him regarding the punishment of the Devil. We've discussed this at length.
Our only concern with American politics is that we should find some path that allows us to carry out Christ's mission: We must share the gospel message of His Covenant. It is a divine mandate, a command we must obey. The results are not in our hands, but the effort is. As a part of that effort, we must denounce the sins of the American government and the American people. We must loudly warn them of what they are doing that prevents them obeying and receiving the covering of the Covenant.
And, as previously noted, while doing all of this, we distinguish between the Elect and the majority who are Damned, as God requires in His revelation. Not in the sense of labeling specific individuals as one or the other, but that we invest the assumption of election in those who seem capable of embracing the Covenant. We treat them as Elect; that's the only standard we have for measuring such a thing. We know that, whether Elect or Damned, whatever life they can have here will be its best under the Covenant. The one thing Satan and his allies fight is bringing humans under the Covenant, because there's not a thing they can do about whether those people are Damned or Elect. The only realm of resistance they can engage is the Covenant life here and now. This is their highest priority.
Our mission is to promote the Covenant against their resistance.
