I've been reviewing some of Heiser's Naked Bible Podcast [YouTube] and was particularly interested in a bibliography of sorts he offers in the notes attached to the video of a few particular episodes:
If you listen to the podcasts with these lists, he explains why each item matters.
Apparently this is something featured on many of these videos. Check as many as you have time to absorb. It's a gold mine of lesser known Biblical Studies texts. Some are distinctly expensive and hard to get. Still, there's plenty that are fairly inexpensive. I've already ordered a couple on Amazon that could well show up here in serial review.
